She was someone who believed in her, more than she believed herself
and helped her to regain her confidence and self-esteem. This time,
Ms. Wallace took suggestions, listened and applied them to my life.
She didn’t go back to those same predicaments that landed her in
jail, time after time. She didn’t indulge in pity parties with
herself. Today, she serves on the Board of Out For Justice, paving
the way for those being released from incarceration. She feels
better about herself and has a lot to be proud of; she’s clean and
sober, able to gain employment and at present is learning to use
computers. She sees a future that is bright and full of great
things…one with a better relationship with God and being involved in
her grandchildren’s lives. She 100% wants to give back to other
women entering TAP. She knows a lot of them and would like to be
their ‘shot of hope.’ |
